JOURNIES THRU HEALING
WITH DR. SHEILA SWEENEY
WITH DR. SHEILA SWEENEY
Greetings to my fellow Young Adult Christians,
I know you are having a great time together, in fellowship, and in spirit. It’s great to have like-minded, like-spirited peers surrounding you. This is a protective buffer and a support mechanism that feeds our feel-good endorphins, as we walk through our daily busy lives. We need each other. We feed each other good, bad, and indifferent. When we feel empty, we have each other to fill us. When others feel empty, when we are filled, we pour into them. This is how we survive in this world, day to day, which can at times, feel so lonely, and full of uncertainty. Do we want to feel this way, of course not. Some of us, this is built into our fabric, and it is imperative that we learn early on, how to manage what feels like the unmanageable.
We all know that through God, all things are possible. Let’s keep that in mind, as we work through the mental portion of our beings today.
More than just your typical therapist, Dr. Sheila Sweeney is an African-American clinically trained psychodynamic psychotherapist with a focus in mind, body, and spiritual connection.
